THE OPPORTUNITY


The contribution of our Finance teams is vital to the performance, profitability, and continued growth of the Primient business. Across Finance, we are exploring new and better ways to harness data, improve decision-making and add value - while optimizing the investment we are making in our plants and people.


The Senior Accounting/Financial Analyst is a highly visible role that will be responsible for supporting day-to-day corporate finance activities for our Primient Covation Plant in Loudon, TN as well as providing analysis to support management decisions. A successful candidate will be comfortable and seasoned in collaboration, as you will partner with senior leadership, commercial management, product management, supply chain and other cross-functional team members to deliver decision-making support for key deliverables and business initiatives. This position will report to the Director of FP&a;A and be based in Schaumburg, IL or Loudon, TN. Primient employees are currently working a hybrid schedule.

Key
Responsibilities:
Sr. Accounting/Financial Analyst


  • Maintain Cost Accounting System
  • Calculate accruals, analyze product costing, and reconcile physical inventory counts
  • Assist in Month end close of the General Ledger
  • Consolidate monthly results of Primient Covation business and provide commentary
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts
  • Deliver models and analysis to provide insight and support to the Primient Covation Management Team in facilitating decision-making and driving action.
  • Variance Analysis on monthly reports giving forward looking insights
  • Pricing analytics
  • Other ad-hoc financial support.
  • Conducts physical inventories and monitors cycle count program
  • Maintain accurate accounting records, and provide insightful analysis and commentary.

ABOUT YOU


  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance Required
  • 5
    year experience as an Accountant in a manufacturing environment preferred, 2-3 year&s;s experience required.
  • Experience with Forecasting and Budgeting processes
  • Sound judgment and problem analysis skills
  • Strong written and oral communications skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to allow productive collaborative relationships with varying levels of organization from operators to management.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to manage data with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with SAP preferred
  • Experience with Hyperion preferred
