00 pm - 7:
00 am (Sunday-Thursday) (Ability to work overtime as required)
Responsibilities:
Package automotive parts and other customer items by hand or using equipment/machines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Demonstrate understanding and responsibilities of each packaging process trained on.
Package product consistently, timely and accurately in accordance with work instructions.
Maintain pace to ensure timely completion of orders.
Maintain productivity standards.
Keep work area clean and free of hazards.
Cooperate and work efficiently with other team members When working alone, organize work and maintain work area efficiently.
Scan vendor labels.
Weigh parts consistently when required.
Willing to work on any product and in any area on the production floor.
Able to distinguish parts, recognize discrepancies and shortages.
Follow process when found.
Seal and label containers appropriately and accurately.
Place boxes on skids per diagram.
Complete required paperwork accurately, timely and legibly.
Follow directions from Supervisors and Line/Area Leads.
Able to work in a positive manner in a diverse environment.
REQUIREMENTS:
Demonstrate basic reading comprehension, writing, and math skills.
Able to work in non-air-conditioned environment.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand 8 - 10 hours day.
Able to bend, walk, reach frequently.
Able to push/pull with pallet jack up to 100 lbs occasionally.
Able to wear PPE as required (i.
e.
safety glasses/goggles, specialty gloves, etc).
Able to perform fine manipulation and manual handling of parts, bags, and labels.
Able to complete required paperwork correctly and legibly.
Able to use a calculator.
Able to use a computer.
Proven ability to successfully positively interact with a variety of individuals in a diverse environment.
Demonstrated proficiency in organizing work.
Flexibility to work on any product as needed.
Able to work daily overtime or weekend as required.
